Please join our Team, St.Mary’s Squad, in making a difference, to bring awareness to others and raise money to help our children. Join us in helping to bring our children home and prevent child victimization.

If it takes a small Army to raise our children, than it will take ALL OF US to protect them!

In September 2020, a group of us will be participating in “Miles for Hope”, which is an awareness and fundraising event to support the work of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

One Month, One Team, One Mission – to raise awareness and spread a message of prevention and hope!

A group of us will be logging all our miles running, walking, biking, kayaking, swimming, even skipping for “Miles for Hope”!

I would like to ask if you would please join our Team, St. Mary’s Squad, record your miles and donate to this fundraiser, to support NCMEC in their efforts to help our children!

NCMEC’s mission ‘is to help missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization.’

NCMEC assists with preventing child abductions, recovering missing children, and provide services to deter and combat child sexual exploitation.

Within these past few months my awareness to Child Sex Trafficking and Exploitation of Children have increased because it’s taken social media by storm. Honestly, I was saddened and heartbroken to think of what our children go through as Victims, at the thought they are so alone, their fight to survive, the thought some will not survive, and the long recovery of the survivors. I honestly cried for two days, and I’m not a crier. I continue to pray for our children. I kept thinking what could some one like me do? I just wasn’t sure until National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) showed up on my FaceBook feed.

I had to research NCMEC, and I was shocked at what I learned.
There have been over 420,000 missing children reported yearly (2019, 421,394 & 2018, 424,066). Unfortunately, many missing children are never reported.
Nearly 26,300 runways reported in 2019.
1 of 6 of runaways are likely victims of Child Sex Trafficking.
4,383 Children in 2019 could have been victims of Child Sex Trafficking! That just breaks my heart!
16.9 Million reports of suspected child sexual exploitation in 2019, including 69.1 Million Files, with 27.8 Million Images and 41.3 Million Videos, and 89,053 other files
More than 10,700 reports were regarding possible Child Sex Trafficking in 2019
