Give HopeMiles for Hope 2021
Team Total Raised: $2,265.00
Hello folks! We are a passionate team of people who love children and stand for their well-being and safety and to give them hope.
We will be participating in different athletic endeavors this September to raise funds for an organization called NCMEC, “National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.” These funds will go toward initial therapy visits for family healing, distributing posters, getting clothes and toiletries for survivors of sex trafficking, supporting law enforcement, etc, with the purpose of rescuing children that have been kidnapped, sex trafficked, runaway’s, etc.
We are passionate about the welfare, safety and future of children, who are a blessing and gift from God. Children deserve to be protected, loved, cared for, and given both a nourishing and safe environment to grow. We stand for and lift our voices against the abuse of children and choose to fight for their right for freedom from captivity, neglect, and evil.
“Give justice to the poor and fatherless. Be just to the afflicted and destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked” (Psalm 82:3-4).
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® is a non—profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose mission is to help find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization.
Since 1984, NCMEC has served as the national clearinghouse and resource center for families, victims, private organizations, law enforcement and the public on issues relating to missing and sexually exploited children.
